Nice to meet you!

Hi, I’m Shari Hirsh, MOT, OTR/L! I’m a California native currently living in Highland Park, IL with my husband, our two children, and our beloved pup. I earned my Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. I’m deeply passionate about helping children develop their social skills, and experience success in all aspects of their lives.

There are so many aspects to a career in Occupational Therapy, and my previous roles have led me to my passion project which is Little Bee Achievers. Working with children has always been where I felt most connected. Well before my career as an OT I was a coach’s daughter which instilled the lessons of communicating and getting on the level of the player. Being an OT, isn’t much different, we learn to work with the child on their level, maneuvering each puzzle piece of their vibrant lives, in order to help them reach their full potential.

While working in a public school, I enjoyed collaborating with the teachers, but missed the opportunity to treat the whole child with the support of their family. I learned the most working for two private practices in the city. I still continue to partner with my peers learning new ideas as well as taking continuing education courses.

My previous experiences and passion have been collaborating closely with teachers and families. I believe that every child has unique strengths, and my goal is to empower them to thrive. I work closely with families throughout the therapeutic process, which will allow for fostering growth and confidence in both parents and their children. Together, we can create a supportive environment where children can flourish and embrace their full potential.

Thank you for visiting my site! I look forward to connecting and helping your child succeed.
